PillagerConclave: Welcome back sports fans, to the #1 sports prognostication show in internet history....THE DYNASTIES! REPORT....where we promise not to complain about everyone else getting...
PillagerConclave: the superteams even though we made the ratings and we got the higher draft pick!
PillagerConclave: Joining me this year is COACH AARON! Introduce yourself Coach
soonerfan303: Hi everyone, been retired for a few years just got tired of dominating people. It was a good move because Coach John was able to win a title since I am the only person in the leugue that can match him.
soonerfan303: But I am back and hungry for my own title
PillagerConclave: Good to hear....and by the way how was taking a year off? The last we saw of you, you took an undermanned Georgia squad to the top of the rankings
PillagerConclave: and only Coach John's current champion Hurricanes stopped you!
PillagerConclave: Commish Jeff was crapping himself with every UGA score that year
soonerfan303: Yeah, it was pretty pathetic that little ole UGA 92 could stomp all those super teams, good thing you upset me in the playoffs
soonerfan303: how bad would that have been for the rest of the league? UGA 92?
PillagerConclave: Well now youve parlayed your college success into the head jobs at Chicago and New York in the M91FL
PillagerConclave: Tell us about the aqdjustment
soonerfan303: Well we haven't had any problems adjusting offensivly. This isn't Steve Spurrier's offense, we can rack up the points in the NFL too..
soonerfan303: defensivly we are a little slow out of the gate, but it is catching up. Just need to tighten up a few areas and get use to the NFL speed
PillagerConclave: Ok...well lets talk about the start of the 2008 season so far...
soonerfan303: Coach Jeff really caught us off guard with those lob throws. I haven't seen cheese like that work since high school
PillagerConclave: The Falcons are currently 3-0 and leading the league in pts scored and formerly atrocious players who all of a sudden are faster than Bo Jackson...
PillagerConclave: Can you think of any other sports or players who suddenly became good for shady and mysterious reasons?
soonerfan303: I would get that Vick guy tested, he actually lives up to the hype
soonerfan303: He gets better with age, kinda like wine, and rockets
PillagerConclave: Yeah, I went over his house last week to discuss the upcoming season...he has a great dog too...he promised me I could have one just like it!
soonerfan303: HE is a real dog lover from what I hear
PillagerConclave: Yes indeed...
PillagerConclave: Another storyline is..
PillagerConclave: Coach John making his return...
PillagerConclave: Last we saw of him, he won the championship with Miami, TAMU finished #2, and then he retired and no one heard from him for 3 years...
PillagerConclave: Now he comes out of nowhere and has Washington and Tampa...two average teams last year, playing out of this world...their winning by 40 a game and his defenses have allowed 20 pts...TOTAL
soonerfan303: Yeah, I heard he wanted to go out on top, but just couldn't stand to watch these loser coaches win titles
soonerfan303: Coach John didn't forget how to coach defense...that has always been his strenght...
PillagerConclave: Well, with coaches John and Aaron back....Coach Jeff could be relegated to .500 seasons again...
PillagerConclave: Anyways lets get into WEEK 3!
soonerfan303: What ever happen to Coach Brett and Coach Tony
PillagerConclave: First up...we have my choice for GAME OF THE WEEK....The 1-1 NYG @ 2-0 Washington!
soonerfan303: Last I heard they were fired for getting waxed on a regular basis
soonerfan303: That is a great pick for Game of the Week, but I am goign with Prime Time....
PillagerConclave: So does Jeff but he somehow gets promoted every year
PillagerConclave: The G-Men shouldve beaten the Falcons, but some shaky 4th quaqrter coaching from normally strong Coach Aaron, a unclutch FG kicker and bad secondary cost them the game
PillagerConclave: I think the G-Men will be the first team to score some points and challenge the Skins
soonerfan303: Yeah, the g-men got caught messing around...hard to blame them when the ave drive was about 3-4 plays before ending in a TD
soonerfan303: The Giants defense was horrible last week against the Falcons and Washington is racking up points like it is going out of style
PillagerConclave: However, I have the Skins and MVP candidates Portis and Moss being slightly too much....Skins win 49-38
soonerfan303: The Giants will score a lot of points, but 1 stop by washington ought to be enough
soonerfan303: 56-49 Wash
PillagerConclave: Next up
PillagerConclave: 0-1 Arizona @ 0-2 Seattle in the stinker of the week
PillagerConclave: Coach Jeff is already on the hot seat out there in Wazzu
soonerfan303: Seattle has been surprisingly awful just forcing everything to Alexander
soonerfan303: The defense is pretty poor in teh secondary, which Boldin and Fitz promise to exploit
PillagerConclave: Matt Hasllebeck is on record already saying he thinks he knows more about calling plays than his Coach!
PillagerConclave: Im picking Arizona 35-34
soonerfan303: Zona played a solid 2nd half against the G-men and I think they will prevail, 28-21
PillagerConclave: Next up is my UPSET OF THE WEEK....3-0 Atlanta @ 2-0 Chicago...The bears face the toughest week of any team facing 2 unbeatens
PillagerConclave: But...the Falcons cant get crunchtime stops and the Bears DL have the men to contain Vick
soonerfan303: You must be reading my mind, this game has upset written all over it
PillagerConclave: Plus, Coach Aaaron wants revenge, and Urlacher recently read Pedro Serrano's best seller "Voodoo for Dummies"
PillagerConclave: I heard he has a headless Jeff doll pinned to his locker as we speak
soonerfan303: The Falcons are coming of a miracle win and must be happy to have survived last week. Coach Aaron's experience against Coach Brett and his lob cheese will help him cope with Vick this week
PillagerConclave: Well, im taking DAAAA BEARSSSS 27-24
soonerfan303: Da Bears 49, Dog Fighters 28
PillagerConclave: Good pick.
PillagerConclave: Next up we have an even worse stinker
PillagerConclave: 0-2 GB @ 0-2 SF
soonerfan303: This figures to be a great game...
soonerfan303: wait, I didn't really mean that
PillagerConclave: Favre has too much pride to start 0-3...so i think the GB offense will come to life....can Frank Gore match him score for score?
soonerfan303: It ought to be a close game though and one that GB should win. San Fran has a horrible roster and Coach Darren must be asking himself why he took this job
PillagerConclave: Yes indeed....Ive got the Pack 42, Niners 28
soonerfan303: I mean, SF has nothing to work with, it is like trying to coach the University of Miami this past year
soonerfan303: I am going Pack 21, SF 17
PillagerConclave: well if the Canes re-hire Coach Tony it might be
soonerfan303: Good point, could you imagine Coach Tony with SF?
PillagerConclave: Alright, next we have 0-1 Carolina @ 2-0 Tampa....Carolina was being talked about for the Super Bowl, and Tampa was supposed to be average...
soonerfan303: Wow, that team would break records for worst ever
PillagerConclave: But Carolina got stung by ATL and Tampa has dominated 2 straight, what gives?
soonerfan303: Tampa's D has been very impressive. Last weeks performance against a Seattle took me by surprise...
soonerfan303: Carolina does have the WR to stretch the field, something Seattle didn't have....well unless you consider forcing it to the RB downfield a deep threat
PillagerConclave: Yes, Tampa has allowed 1 td in 8 quarters and it was because of PI...so really nobody has an honest score against the Pewter People Eaters
soonerfan303: I think Tampa plays too good a defense to lose this game though....tb 34-17
PillagerConclave: Ill take Tampa in another romp 31-3
soonerfan303: Carolina has a chance though, they have some explosive players and a coach who is adjusting to the new league
PillagerConclave: Lastly, the Commish's Special...2-0 Washington @ 2-0 Chicago...can Chicago defend its home turf and emerge as the #1 team with 2 huge wins this week?
soonerfan303: like I said earlier, this is my Game of the Week...Prime Time
soonerfan303: Chicago will find a way to slow down the skins and will execute all day offensivly. Long sustained drives.
PillagerConclave: Its a battle between Rex Grossman and Mark Brunell...really...only comedy wins here
soonerfan303: power vs power here
soonerfan303: hey, isn't Brunell got a strong arm now?
soonerfan303: that is funny
PillagerConclave: I like Washingtons stars though...Portis and Moss have rolled for 9 combined TDS so far
soonerfan303: HGH?
PillagerConclave: an d Sean Taylor has an INT TD and almost 2 KR tds so far...he will b e patrolling the middle all day
PillagerConclave: He hired a new trainer...Brian Mc-something...supposed to be great
PillagerConclave: He just working really hard!
soonerfan303: hmmmmmm, has his helmet size changed?
PillagerConclave: However at night and at home...Im taking DAAA BEARSSS again....24-20
PillagerConclave: What do you say, Coach?
soonerfan303: Washington has dominated on offense all season long, but haven't faced a tough defense yet. Chicago is coming off a 46-7 lead at halftime that left the opponent speachless
soonerfan303: I think Chicago will stun Washington and they will be questioning how dominate they are offensivly at half
soonerfan303: Washington will battle back in the 2nd, but a late fg will end their perfect run
soonerfan303: 31-28
-----
THE END
