New member here! I have a suggestion/idea for the upcoming NHL 92 season!
I have created a "special ROM" of NHL 92 that I think you will all enjoy! Basically, it's the same game, NHL 92, BUT instead of the crappy blue ice, I have inserted WHITE ICE into the game!
In addition, I have "lightened" the blue line color to that of what is in NHLPA 93 and NHL 94! (NHL 92's blue line was too dark a blue)
The result? See for yourself! I have attached the following picture of my "proposed" NHL 92 League ROM! If you notice, the game looks so much better with white ice (real ice color) and the NHLPA 93/NHL 94 colored blue line!
Most of my friends, who are big fans of the NHL series, really love the white ice. So, I thought I'd give out this suggestion/idea for the upcoming NHL 92 season!

In addition to the sleek new "updated" look of this timeless classic, I also would like to propose the following for the upcoming season which has never been done before: TRADES BETWEEN PLAYERS AND TEAMS!
Now I know what you're thinking..."Too complicated"...NO!!! If you go to NHL94.com you'll see a brand spankin' new editor has come out called "NOSE".
Basically, what I'm proposing is very, very simple. Each team and owner will be allowed ONE trade during the course of the season! Lets say, I want to trade Messier (EDM) for Gartner (NYR). Simply go to "NOSE" (NOSE=NHL OLD SCHOOL EDITOR), copy/paste Messier to NYR, and Gartner to EDM. DONE! It's THAT simple!
Imagine the fun of being able to make a big trade that could propel your team to Stanley Cup glory, or sink your team to defeat! HAHA imagine Messier scoring the game winning goal against EDM in the finals, and being able to rub that in! LOL!
It's very, very easy to simply swap players in "NOSE". And, to make it even easier, I have implemented the "1 trade per year only" rule, so that Deadmeow doesnt have to keep running around updating the ROM. This way, each team gets to make one fun trade per year! And at the end of the season, of course, the ROM would be reset to original rosters and youd start all over again.
No complicated draft, or anything like that. I agree that's way too complicated. BUT dont you think one fun trade would be cool each season?! And with NOSE, its so easy! Piece of cake, it'd take literally less than a minute to make the swap! We could have a "trade dealine" too even!

OK, those are basically my 2, very simple ideas for the upcoming NHL 92 season. They're only my suggestions but I hope you like them! If you like one idea but not the other, or love both ideas, OR hate both ideas, let me know! I'd love to hear feedback on this! Let me know what you guys think!
Thanks guys! Take care, and I hope no matter what you guys think of my ideas I will be able to join the league for the upcoming NHL 92 season! I'm a 92 freak, love this game to death (especially my white ice version)!
FEEDBACK WELCOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
