So far the 2004 NHL'92 playoffs have not been predictable. Chicago and Edmonton, both contenders last year, have been knocked out in the division semifinals.
Chicago lost to rival Toronto 3-2 in the best of 5. The last game in overtime, Edmonton lost 3-2 to Calgary, the last game also in overtime.
In another exciting series, Minnesota who wasn't expected to give Hartford a challenge, nearly pulled the upset, and held a goal lead in the last 2 minutes of game 5 until slipping at the very end.
