With week 6 posted, you will see at first glance these games seem meaningless. They are 2 ECC games Miami-Pitt, UCLA-Pitt, and Colorado NEB. Pitt and Neb are in.
The Week 7 games will be for playoff spots, between KU-Colorado, and UCLA-Miami. However, because ties are possible, this makes Week 6 games important. Ties are better than losses for week 6, and even with a loss, keeping your LOSS AVERAGE low, is better than allowing a blow out for tie breaking reasons.
Going into Week 7 we will know what each of the 4 lower teams need to do, in order to clinch the final 2 spots.
