Kansas took a 3-0 lead, after returning a Pitt punt to the Pitt 10 yard line.
Pitt and Kansas trading scores and it stayed 14-6 for a long time. Kansas scored another FG on short drive, after a Pitt fumble on 3rd down inside the Pitt 20.
In the second half, Kansas pulled to 14-9, and had chances to take the lead, but could not. Pitt finally added another FG 17-9 with about 1:00. Kansas could not make any offense versus Pitt. With the run semi-successful and no passing, Kansas had no choice but to do more passing now, with under a minute .
On 3rd down, Kansas was finally intercepted. Pitt ran the clock down.

Pitt held KU to 10 yards passing...that is not a typo--- 10!!! 3 total completions (3 of 15). Pitt held KU to 60 yards rushing and average of 2 per carry. Total of 70 yards, no TDs= Best defensive performance EVER!
