Kansas had a 10-0 lead over Ga Tech near the end of the first half. At 3rd down from midfield, on the last play at the half, Ga Tech nails a 57 yard TD pass, to make it 10-7. Kansas fumbled early in the 2nd half, and next play Ga Tech converts for a TD, 14-10 Ga Tech. Late in the game, Ga Tech led 28-27, Kansas had moved into FG range, and sought to milk the clock below 1:30, or as low as possible. A 2nd down rush was stuffed, and the RB ran in circles trying to make something, but took a giant loss instead. 3rd down and 18 was incomplete. Now Kansas had to convert a 4th and 18 in order to get a FG or keep moving the ball, and this failed incomplete. Leading 28-27, GT needed one first down to run out the clock, and was able to obtain this in 2 rushes. With the last tics of the clock going by, one last GT pass, went 67 yards for another TD with no time left. GT 34 KU 27 Attachments:
