Florida and TCU were 0 - 0 till late in the first half, when Florida finally nailed some deep passes, to take a 7-0 lead. In the 2nd half, TCU answered with their own TD drive, with some passes. The TCU defense played even more tough against Florida, and TCU was able to move the ball again, taking a 14-7 lead. Following a Florida interception, deep in Florida territory, TCU was looking for an easy score and bigger lead, but threw an interception to Florida. Florida losing 14-7 and with the ball at their 3 yard line, took a bad sack, giving TCU a 16-9 lead in the 4th quarter. Florida did win the turnover battle 2-0, with 2 picks.
