Texas roughed up the Jayhawks and marched up and down the field all over Kansas, with Colt McCoy passing for nearly 300 yards. Texas had a touchdown, 3 field goals, and a safety.
Texas held an 18-7 lead late in the game, but made had a crucial fumble.
Kansas converted this into a quick touchdown, and after a Texas punt, scored another touchdown in the final minute, to take a 21-18 lead.
The final play of the game was a 70 yard pass to a wide open, toasting, left side wide receiver, who got tired legs around the 10 yd line and was caught and tackled. Kansas escaped, barely.
