I am planning on going back to the original league format of 2 teams per coach in NFC and AFC.
The changes to the league will be allowing new NFC teams to compete in the AFC.
Before more AFC league play, we will hold the NFC playoffs, and there will be no interconference play as originaly intended. The NFC winner who clinches a slot in the Super Bowl, will be allowed to compete in the AFC with Houston and Miami. This will guarantee a Super Bowl game (unless Houston or Miami makes their way to the Super Bowl).
NFC playoffs were to be 8 of 10 teams, and now that we only have 8 teams, I have cut the playoff teams to 4 of 8.
The AFC league will have a newbie division and veterans division, and more liberal playoffs.
The Dallas NY Giant game turns out to be an interconference game and will not be counted in the final standings.
The New England Indy game was an AFC game and will count.
Coaches may drop or use their 3rd "NFC" team for the AFC league, or draft another AFC team to use in the AFC league (2 AFC teams total).
Quick Glance NFC ---------------- 4 coaches x 2 teams each = 8 teams 4 team playoff No interconference play AFC League play follows NFC playoffs ------------------
AFC ----------------- 5 coachs possible 6 coaches, with 2 teams each = 10 to 12 teams More liberal playoffs Newbie division, and veterans divisions NFC champion coaches Miami and Houston -----------------
