The Buffs grabbed a quick 14-0 lead only to see a bigtime Miami comeback in the 2nd half.
Miami looked to get on board first, but a 44 yd FG sailed far wide left.
CU then hit a 60 yd bomb for a 7-0 lead. Miami would drive but Lamar Thomas dropped a wide open by 5 yds td and then Miami was stopped. CU struck again for a 14-0 lead.
Miami would answer, get an int, then answer again to tie it at halftime.
Canes would stop CU, then score for a 21-14 lead. They would trade turnovers for awhile and then Miami hit a 41 yd FG to make it 24-14. However CU would respond to make it 24-21 with 1:29 left and the pressure on Miami.
Canes faced 3rd and 10 with 1 min left but hit a 35 yd pass. Next play was a 45 yd TD to Thomas to end it.
