Alright, sportsfans! Dynasties is back again!
In Jeff's quest to keep finding unknown sega football games nobodies ever heard of and force everyone else to play, hoping he can actually have a winning season, we have landed on Joe Montana's Classic Football.
That said, the playbooks have about 10 plays total, you cant run the ball, blocking is almost non existant, and it appears to be a game of quick passing. The only difference from Walsh in this area is there are no frame skips.
Now onto the predictions:
KANSAS @ PITT80
As poor UNC found out, theres no antidote for speed. The Pitt defense will shred Kansas QB alive, and scalp the RB. Pitt will have no mercy as we see the return of the Brett deep-lob offense.
Pitt 41 Kansas 7
COLORADO90 @ MIAMI91
This one is a very even matchup between two teams that love to throw downfield. CU's only real hope is to escape the Miami blitz, which they know is coming.
Miami 24 Colorado 17
**UPSET OF THE WEEK**
TEXAS A&M @ MIAMI92
Poor Tony has beaten John one time ever in football games. Even though John has never played this particular game before, it wont matter. Tony sucks.
TAMU 16 Miami 13
**GAME OF THE WEEK**
NEBRASKA83 @ CLEMSON81
The speed of these teams backfields should make this an interesting fight. Both will try to scramble for yards, throw short dinks, and occosionaly break a big run with their RBs. The Clemson "Death Swarm" defense is way to fast though and will wear the Huskers down.
Clemson 20 Nebraska 17
WASHINGTON91 @ OHIO ST79
Nobody really knows how good these teams really are. Both teams are solid almost everywhere, but are very blue collar and have no real stars. OSU likes to run while Wash relies on the west coast short pass offense. It will be close.
OSU 27 Wash 23
STANFORD @ USC79
Stanford's west coast offense meets the nations best overral offense. Stanford has to control the clock and use its secondary to keep USC from going deep. If USC can spread Stanford out and attack with the RB, Stanford will be toast.
USC 31 Stanford 21
