Although this is week 6's report, there is still 1 game left from week 5 and boy is it huge. The TAM Aggies and their trench warfare style square off against the dive bombers of Colorado. This matchup will definately decide which club becomes top notch, especially if TAM wins and goes to 4-2. We, here at dynasties, however simply like colorado's offense too much. Plus, look at who the Aggies have beaten-Syracuse, Notre Dame88, and USC79, none of these teams have sufficient passing attacks. Look for Colorado to score often on a TAM team that wont be able to counter fast enough. Thier methodical ball control offense will be forced to resort to passing. But in a shootout, we cant go against the basketball offense of Colorado.
Prediction: CU 39, TAM 37
Now for the week 6 games. First we have Colorado-Kansas. Kansas, in our opinion, are a bunch of overachieving farmers. Relying on Colorado to fumble inside their 10 yd line isnt gonna happen. Instead Kansas, who plays the same ancient style like TAM simply will be outmatched. Look for the Bufs to begin their rise to the top with a win (We arent calling this an upset). Can the Jayhawks manage to make Buffalo steak for dinner? Only if they have Davy Crockett's aim.
Prediction: CU 54, KU 51
Next up is a rather bleak game between shoddy Stanford and a Michigan85 team that hasnt been told that being good on paper doesnt win you games. Stanford can try to survive with its balanced offense, but Michigan85 is the harvard version of Stanford, and will finally win a game. For a team which started with a 42-14 bitchslapping by Miami91, they will avenge Pittsburghs 49-48 grand theft.
Prediction: Mich85 60, Stan 38
Whats worse than a re-incarnated Hitler? Miami, coming off a pitiful lame ass loss and facing a winless step-over sorry excuse for a defense Syracuse. By the time this charade is over, Miami will have made sweeter Orange-juice than can be found in Florida. While this cruel and unusual punishment is happening, Ill be enjoying myself more by watching I love lucy re-runs.
Prediction: UM91 46, Syr 26
When the season first started, we raved about Clemson's QB and thier vicious defense. Yet, their tiger roar seems like an emaciated Bambi squeak now. Losses to inconsistent Colorado and sloppy Notre Dame88 leave them struggling to hold their reputations. Against Pitt80, lets just say this is like swords against machine guns. Pitt's swarming blitz and deadly offense will annihilate the poor suffering Clemson team. Religion was invented beacuse of genocides like this.
Prediction: Pitt80 42, Clemson81 24
Teams with Byes: TAM, ND88
TAM: Hope Clemson wins. Losing to a pack of disorganized tigers with 3 amputated legs doesnt help their image. It might not even matter after Colorado stampedes over them. What is an aggy anyways?
ND88: They lose to TAM, but beat Clemson, whats thier deal? Unless they stop playing robin hood and play to thier potential, another famine is in the future. A title famine, that is.
Dynasties: Because who says sports have to be PC?
