If any same owner match ups occur in the playoffs result in the higher ranked team advancing as stated before. However these teams that are outranked out of the playoffs will still have a playoff game to end their season on.
An extra deadend wild card game (dead-card?) will be added. If their are 2 teams who are out because of same owner matchups, they will play in a wildcard game to end their season.
If there is an odd number of these teams 1, or 3 for example, the next highest team that didn't make the wildcard cut will take a "deadcard" spot.
As an example, with the deadend wild card in place last season, Texas A&M(who matched out against Wash91) would have ended their season by hosting Clemson.
