The 2004 season will be reborn in the fall of 2004 on the new Bill Walsh(ME). I have some new ideas.
Team owners will each have 3, possibly 4 teams.
ECC and Big West will each have a 10 minute game, and 20 minute game division.
If an owner has 3 or more teams in the playoffs, his teams will be consolidated down to 2 teams by forced same owner matchups, but any owner who loses a team to one will get to play in a minor bowl game to end the season for that team.
So if you get 4 teams in, the top 2 teams advance to the next round, while the lower 2 each get to play in a bowl game, and a chance to end their season on a high note.
